a medical cannabis company
Established in the Land of Enchantment, Compassionate Distributors has grown from a single dispensary and grow operation in 2009 to 6 full service stores with expansion underway across the state of New Mexico. Currently, we have store locations in Ruidoso, Roswell, Carlsbad, Alamogordo, Hobbs and Portales. On the cultivation side, our team of innovative farmers and scientists grow over 40 strains of marijuana to meet conditions and evolving tastes, with new strains constantly in development. In addition to cannabis products such as edibles, topicals, and concentrates, we also carry a full selection of glass and accessories to ensure that we're able to meet all of your needs.
Our goal is to be your one-stop-shop for all things medical cannabis. We are investing in our communities and we will continue to grow responsibly to meet your needs and provide the compassionate care and treatment that only your friends and neighbors can provide. Your standards are high. And so are ours.
As legalization expands nationally, we're excited to continue building on our position as an industry leader, breaking traditional marijuana stereotypes and proving to our communities and the world that responsible business practices and cannabis are not mutually exclusive. Educating the public about cannabis is one of our biggest priorities. Whether you're a medical patient or someone who is just curious about cannabis, our expert bud tenders will provide you with the information you need to enjoy Compassionate Distributors' cannabis products safely and responsibly.
At Compassionate Distributors, we're driven to provide quality care for those who need it most. Our highly trained store personnel and support staff help determine the most effective treatment method, then guide our patients through every step of the process so you can know exactly what to expect, ask any questions, and be provided with any resource needed.
There are currently 28 qualifying conditions for the New Mexico Medical Cannabis Program. The NMDOH administers the Medical Cannabis Program, in accordance with the Lynn and Erin Compassionate Use Act while at the same time ensuring proper enforcement of any criminal laws for behavior that has been deemed illicit by the state. A Primary Caregiver (PC) may be designated by the Qualified Patient (QP) to take responsibility for managing the well-being of the QP in the use of medical cannabis.
Currently, you must be a New Mexico resident and obtain a New Mexico State issued ID to qualify for the program. Patient and Caregiver ID cards expire every three years. We suggest you send in your application to renew 30-90 days before the expiration date printed on your card. Being a patient in the program allows you to buy up to 230 units (about 8 ounces) of cannabis over three months. Having your patient ID card does not allow you to grow your own medical cannabis. If you want to grow your own medical cannabis, complete the application for a Personal Production License (PPL) and send it to the NMDOH.
